In the 24 hours before a treatment avoid large quantities of alcohol and on the day of treatment avoid high-intensity exercise on the day of treatment to help decrease the risk of bruising.
Unlike more extensive procedures, you can book your appointment, and come straight in for your treatment with one of our friendly, expertly qualified cosmetic medical professionals. Anti-Wrinkle treatments can be done on the same day as consultation but we do need to check your medical history and have a discussion on realistic expectations and cost before deciding to proceed. Bruising is very uncommon after anti-wrinkle treatments but if you bruise very easily it is advisable to avoid aspirin and some supplements such as Vitamin E in the week prior to treatment.
We often put a small cold pack on immediately after treatment to settle down any immediate reaction. Typically after 5-10 minutes the skin has fully settled and normal activities can be resumed. Make up and sunblock can be applied immediately after treatment. We do advise avoiding intense exercise or other facial treatments in the next 24 hours after a treatment.
After your first treatment at our clinic we do like to review you if possible after 2 weeks to check you are 100% happy with the results.
