Peels

Skin rejuvenation.

Peels can be used to improve acne, skin tone and texture and reduce the appearance of freckling, pigmentation, and wrinkling.

Peels

Our Approach

Our range of skin peels are based on organic compounds such as lactic, salicylic, pyruvic and ascorbic acids which work with your skin’s natural physiology to regenerate and restore a healthier more luminous complexion with improved tone and texture. The type and strength of peel is customised according to your skin type and particular skin concerns.

Our peels range from micro peels, which provide the lightest chemical peel to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin to procedure peels, which can target deeper layers of the skin.

Prescription peels are medically formulated preparations such as Vitamin A (Retinoic Acid) and are used to treat specific skin disorders and conditions such as acne or sun damage.

The Power Peel is a combination treatment that combines the benefits of both Microdermabrasion and a Peel in the one treatment.

A Laser Peel is a combination treatment that combines the benefits of a power peel (microdermabrasion and peel) and Laser Toning. It provides faster results than using Laser Toning alone.

How it works

With chemical peels, the ingredients interact with skin proteins, causing them to peel, revealing the new skin below, and speeding up cell turnover. Other peels work similarly, but the strength of the peel affects the number of layers of skin peeled, the length of the downtime and the final result.

Benefits

Skin peel treatments transform sun-damaged skin into youthful, radiant skin. They can reduce hyperpigmentation and improve skin tone and leave the skin looking brighter and smoother.

FAQs

Preparation

For any skin peel it is important to prepare your skin, both to minimise reaction and improve results. Depending on the type of Peel and your skin type our dermal clinician will advise the best program, which will typically involve using some cosmeceuticals (AHA/BHA blend and/or Vitamin A) and a sunscreen.

Aftercare

Ensuring the skin is clean, well moisturised, and protected from the sun is recommended in the weeks after treatment. When dead skin begins to shed, do not touch, pick, or scratch it.
